Cholera: Vibrio Cholerae bacteria in contaminated drinking water, food cause infection in small intestine. Symptoms - Diarrhea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain. Major cause of death world wide. Treatment - Oral and rehydration solutions
Tuberculosis : Highly infectious. Mycobacterium Tuberculosis bacteria causes this. Lungs get infected and chronic cough, fever, weight loss are the symptoms. Treatment is difficult b/c of high resistance of bacteria for antibiotics. Prevention: Bacillus calmette Guerin vaccine
Hepatitis: can be vaccine prevented.
Smallpox: can be vaccine prevented
